Thanks for sharing your opinion, Mateo. I see your argument for the longevity of SSD and RAM, especially on your Intel Mac.
I've been following a couple of repair shops and read news about SSDs dying on new computers, especially on Macs since they often use (overuse) SWAP as Apple sells more baseline Macs to their customers.
No matter the part, there will be wear and tear, and eventually, the device will die. The question is when.
For SSD, it's the TBW (Total Bytes Written), and once it reaches a certain threshold, it'll massively affect the lifespan of the hardware.
Unfortunately for baseline Macs, that happens sooner since the read and write happen more often than other products.
