Regarding the music, I understand your concern. It is difficult managing your purchased songs on iTunes and physical media, however, I think you should do a deep down analysis of how you feel about your collection? Are they adding value to your life? Does their existance solve the real problem you are dealing with? (it looks like the clutter is annoying you)

A lot of times we keep our belongings for just in case moments which really never arrive. The Minimalists have a great saying that we should replace the mindset of just in case with just for when. That way we know what truly adds value for a situation.
