I like your argument but what makes FaceBook products successful is how easy it is to create an online service for selling your products.

Many people still believethat making a website is difficult (and to some extend, it is not easy,) but I believe it is our job as designers/creators to make the process easier for them.

Most people see the instant exposure of their online business on services like Instagram and it satisfies their needs. The famous quote "Don't fix it if ain't broke" drives many users to stay on Social Media for their businesses.

I wonder what it takes to make the transition easier. I guess at minimum, the creation of a shopping website has be easier than creating a page on FaceBook.
